Our Mission

Making Research Accessible to Every Student

Vireka was born from a simple idea: students shouldn't have to wait until college to do real research. Too many young people with brilliant ideas never get the mentorship, resources, or guidance to turn their curiosity into published work.

We bridge that gap. Through our Research Publishing Program, students choose their own topic, receive hands-on mentorship, and publish their work in peer-reviewed academic journals. Through our Biotech Innovation Program, students work in Stanford and UCSF affiliated labs to design biotech devices, file patents, and develop commercialization plans.

In just one year since our founding in December 2024, we've helped over 700 students get published, expanded to 7+ countries, partnered with UC Berkeley, and been featured on local news. We're just getting started.

Vireka Founded

Launched with a vision to make research publishing accessible to students of all backgrounds.

January 2025

Bay Area Expansion

Expanded into local Bay Area school districts, bringing the Research Publishing Program to students across the region.

June 2025

UC Berkeley Partnership & Media Feature

Partnered with UC Berkeley to expand program reach. Featured on local Bay Area news for our impact on student research.

July 2025

400+ Students Published

Reached the milestone of helping over 400 students publish their original research in peer-reviewed journals.

September 2025

UCSF Lab Affiliation

Established affiliation with UCSF labs, launching the Biotech Innovation Program with access to world-class research facilities.
